His Word for Today: Book of Numbers 31:1-12

This morning's verses talk about His vengeance being released through His chosen people, the Israelis. He wants to show Himself through us for His glory. What keeps us from seeing Him revealed through us?

When we are not in agreement with what He says in the Scriptures, He is unable to show Himself through us. We can be in agreement with Him through obedience to what He teaches us to do. We can only grow in agreement with Him through the renewing of our minds. As we renew our minds, He will show Himself accordingly. (Ref Romans 12:1-2) We can experience the abundant life Christ died to give us. (Ref John 10:10) He may even use us to confront certain issues to bring about justice in the Church, the society etc..  

Today, let us reflect on how He can show Himself even more through us for His glory because when He shows Himself, we can experience peace and joy (Ref Galatians 5:22-23) despite levels of discomfort.
