His Word for Today: Book of Numbers 32:20-24

This morning's verses talk about the Lord giving us victories in the battles. What battles are we facing that we have chosen to avoid? He has already promised us the victories. 

The battles that we face include those that take place in our minds. Should I really be doing this? Have I made the right decisions? Do I have what it takes? Will I be rejected? What happens if I fail? Is what I am doing worth doing? Why am I where I am when others whom I look up to continue to prosper? Where is God? I thought He promised this in my life but I am not experiencing this. All of these questions we may ask ourselves can be summed up in one word: doubts. The solution to this is simple: we choose to trust Him that He as already given us the abundant life (Ref John 10:10) which is in us, (Ref Galatians 2:20) choosing to hear His voice each day, (Ref John 10:27) and carrying them out to experience the abundant life each day, (Ref James 2:14-26) not tomorrow or sometime in the future after we have attained certain things. (Ref Matthew 6:11, Psalm 37:23) In truth, abundant life is not necessarily always having more than enough financially as even Apostle Paul struggled with finances at times but declared that he could do all things through Christ. (Ref Philippians 4:10-14) 

Today, let us seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit in terms of areas that we are avoiding to face the challenges. He, Who is in us is greater than the challenges of this world. (Ref 1 John 4:4)
