His Word for Today: Book of Numbers 33:1-4

Today's verses talk about moving forward step by step. Are we in a rush to reach our destinations?

We may be in a rush because we may feel like we have to be in a certain stage of life so that we can be or live like the person we may look up to. We may be frustrated because of where we are now against the expectations we have set for ourselves. 

But there is a solution to this. We have a choice to focus on living out the race that is set before each one of us. 

In order to do this, we will need to set aside the distractions such as how others are living compared to us. (Ref Hebrews 12:1) There is an opportunity for us to enjoy the life Christ died to give us. (Ref John 10:10)

Today, let us focus on the current step. After we have fulfilled the current step, we can move onto the next step. We can choose to enjoy the life laid out for us.  (Ref Ephesians 2:10)
