This morning's verses talk about letting sin affect our lives. What and how can our sins be dealt with to live out the abundant life Christ died to give us? (Ref John 10:10)
We are His righteousness, (Ref 2 Corinthians 5:21) holy and blameless in His sight. (Ref Ephesians 1:4) We can receive these by faith because of the finished work of Christ on the cross 2,000 years ago. (Ref Ephesians 2:8)
However, He continues to work in us to finish the work. He continues to work in and through us to manifest His presence. (Ref Philippians 1:6, Philippians 2:12) Because of who we are in Christ, and His work in us, we are able to grow effortlessly, which includes seeking Him for His wisdom in areas where we seem to be struggling. (Ref Matthew 7:7)
Why are we so frustrated? Without knowing, are we getting influenced by what we see others doing, especially those whom we look up to, and set ungodly expectations towards ourselves at this very moment? We are being transformed into His image. We are in the process of growth. (Ref 2 Corinthians 3:15-18) It is important that we choose to become content with where we are (Ref 1 Timothy 6:3-10) with a balance to grow to experience more of Christ, the abundant life.
Today, let us seek Wisdom for areas of our frustrations. He will give them to us so that we can live out the life of wholeness. (Ref Isaiah 53:5)
May the Lord continue to richly bless you today!
