What is He speaking to us today? He sometimes gives us specific directions in terms of how to live out each day. What are the areas we are struggling with now? Is our mind, emotions out of control? Do we have health challenges that we have no idea what to do about? How about our finances? Do we have payments that are due even in days, weeks, months, years to come that we have no idea how these will be paid? Perhaps, we may feel like we made poor purchase decisions? Are we facing crisis situations in our marriage where we feel like we just don’t know how to communicate with our spouse? Or do we feel that our children are not behaving in a way that we would like them to? And our career, ministry; do they all seem to be dried up and we simply feel like we are going through the motions without experiencing any joy and peace? God is speaking to us today at this very moment so that we receive His Wisdom and apply it to our daily walk with Him so that we may prosper and succeed in all these areas. He speaks to us and we hear His voice, and we follow Him. (Ref John 10:27)
Obviously, we may not be able to tackle all of the issues and challenges all at once, but He is expecting us to take the first step to experience breakthroughs in all these areas.
I experienced a supernatural breakthrough in my soul when I noticed that I was unknowingly letting all of the outside pressure that include negative thoughts come into my mind and interfere with my daily walk. But when the Holy Spirit led me to Ephesians 6:13, I literally felt the one single Word “withstand” moving mightily in my heart to simply resist all of the attacks from the outside seeing them dissolve as they come inside of me. Hallelujah! As I felt the enemy come against me to steal my joy throughout the day, I simply declared “withstand” to see them vanish. Enemy is powerless under the mighty name of God. Ever since then, I am experiencing more and more of His freedom He promises us in the bible.
What is He speaking to us today to move a step closer to fulfilling the God given destiny He has for us? He delights when His children take the next step. We may not be able to do them all at once but we can take the next step. Life is a journey. (Ref Psalm 37:23)
May the Lord continue to richly bless you today!
