What is He speaking to us today? Have we fully fulfilled what He has called us to do? In today’s verse, we can see the Lord restating what the Israelis were already doing. Are there any areas we missed out that we should be doing to complete the work God has led us to do?

One of the reasons why we are not experiencing the next level is because we have not completed the current task. This task may be physical and tangible like delivering with excellence a report that the client requested,  meeting and even going beyond what was requested. But for the most part, what He is interested in is our heart changing, growing conforming to the image of Christ. Because when our soul prospers, everything else will prosper. (Ref 3 John 1:2) Are there areas in our heart, mind, will, emotions that we chose to neglect to grow and mature because of our laziness, or even pride thinking that we know better? We may be doing this consciously but may also be doing without knowing.

For Christians who are faithfully walking with Christ each day, the latter, the blind spot is where we need help to break through to the next level. Are there any areas that your spouse is pointing out continuously but you chose to neglect? The counsel may not be full but may give you an idea, a direction to which you need to seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Whoever seeks finds. (Ref Matthew 7:8) It may be a totally new area you never heard others preach. But God is working through us to experience a new thing. (Ref Isaiah 43:19) He will even use this experience to comfort others. (Ref 2 Corinthians 1:4)

Today, let us seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit to understand what it is we need to fully complete in order to rise to the next level. God wants us to experience more of Him living out the abundant life Christ came to give us. (Ref John 10:10)

May the Lord continue to richly bless you today!
