His Word for Today: Book of Numbers 7:12-17

What is He speaking to us today? Are we caught up in what may happen tomorrow that we have lost focus to enjoy the abundant life He has planned for us today? We are unable to enjoy tomorrow. Enjoyment is only for the present. How can we enjoy the time with family in the future when the opportunity to enjoy it is in the present?

His favor is in the now. (Ref 2 Corinthians 6:2) What keeps us from enjoying today?  

Our worries of what may happen tomorrow may not even happen. Even if it happens, and experience the current chapter of life closes, God will open another chapter to step into for us to enjoy. (Ref Revelation 3:7)

Are we worried that what we experienced in the past may surface again? He delights and it is His will to do a new thing. We are to have our hopes up and expect Him to do a new thing which we never experienced. (Ref Isaiah 43:19) What a way to experience more of God and flourish in a way that exceeds all that we ask, think or imagine. (Ref Ephesians 3:20)

If we seem to be repeating the same process, experience, we need to seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit if there is any unbelief in our heart and mind that is keeping us from stepping into His amazingly good plan for us. (Ref Hebrew 3:19) He may be asking us to focus on our growth renewing our minds so that we can experience the good and perfect plan He has for us. (Ref Romans 12:1-2) 

Today, whatever the situation we are in, there is an assignment from Him to fulfill. We may be in the season of harvest reaping the benefits of what we sown. Or we may be in the season of sowing in expectation of future harvest. (Ref Genesis 8:22) Whichever we are in, today is the day to experience His favor.
