His Word for Today: Book of Numbers 7:36-41

Are we continuing what the Lord has called us to do? Today's verse talks about the fifth day of offering. We may start but what are the roadblocks that keep us from continuing and moving forward? 

We may be in a season where we may need to build everything from the ground up after a loss, whether this be in relationships, career, ministry etc.. But this presents a great opportunity for us to evaluate areas that need to be changed from the core. (Ref Proverbs 24:32) Are there areas that are repetitive where we never seem to have made the next progress experiencing a breakthrough reaching new highs? (Ref Isaiah 43:19) Israelis wandering in the desert not being able to enter the promised land was due to their lack of faith. (Ref Hebrews 3:19) What are the areas where we have been choosing to be stubborn both knowingly and unknowingly? Have we been putting God in our little small box limiting Him from doing things that are exceedingly, abundantly, above and beyond all that we can ever ask or think?  Stepping into the unknown may feel uncomfortable but He takes us through steps. What is our next step into the unknown?  We may not even know what we are getting into specifically but be assured that His life for us is more abundant.(Ref Ephesians 3:20, Psalm 37:23, Hebrews 11:8, John 10:10) 

Today, let us seek His guidance in terms of what the next step is expecting Him to do a new thing not limiting Him based on what we have experienced in the past. Our vision for the future may not be very specific, but like Abraham, we can take the next step of faith.
