Today's Scripture moves on to the seventh day of offering. What is our motive for each day? Are we seeking His guidance on what we should do each day? We should ask the question, “what do you want me to do today, Lord?”. We hear His voice so we should trust this truth that we do hear His voice. We may not know how He would speak to us today but believing that He would is the key. (Ref John 10:27) He gives us today our daily bread so what He gives us today should not be applicable to tomorrow. Abundance and prosperity is not for tomorrow - it is certainly for us to experience today. (Ref Matthew 6:11, John 10:10)
What are the tasks we do each day that drain us that seem to be taking away our joy and peace? But we can choose to consider them joy. We can ask the Lord how we can stay in joy even through the mundane tasks for each day. (Ref James 1:2) For business owners, pitching for new projects may sometimes be a long process until they are won. But the Scripture tells us to never give up on doing what is right for at the proper time we shall reap the harvest of blessings. (Ref Galatians 6:9)
How can we be prepared for tomorrow through character growth? Because He would not give us more than what we can handle, (Ref 1 Corinthians 10:13) in order for us to take on more responsibility, our character needs to grow first. In other words, our capacity to take on more pressure needs to grow first making room for Him to step in. What is He speaking to us today for growth?
Today, let us seek and ask the Lord His daily guidance, trusting Him that we hear His voice. No matter what the challenge we face is, abundant life is for today, preparing for tomorrow and the future for even more.
May the Lord continue to richly bless you!
