His Word for Today: Book of Numbers 7:66-71

The Lord may not be speaking to us something new, wondering what it is that we should be doing today. We may be going through the same tasks, motions and wondering if this will ever amount to anything. 

But this is when our faith in the Lord is tested. Will we quit because the everyday tasks are boring? We can still experience joy even in these moments. The bible teaches us to consider them joy trials of any kind. (Ref James 1:2) He is telling us to rejoice always and pray without ceasing. (Ref 1 Thessalonians 5:16-17) Because the tasks are repetitive, we may have more space to communicate with Him throughout. He may speak to you the new thing in these moments. (Ref Isaiah 43:19)

What can we accomplish today so that we can make progress? God is teaching us to think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. (Ref Philippians 4:8-9) Overcoming the temptations to quit gives us the sense of victory each day experiencing His victory. 

Today, let us continue what He last spoke to us to do. Because if we keep on doing the right things, we shall reap a harvest of blessings in His time. (Ref Galatians 6:9) And He is about to do a new thing.
