Today's verse talks about Aaron's obedience to Moses who was also obedient to His voice. Moses, in this context, may seem more important than Aaron because He is the one hearing from God and giving directions. What keeps us from hearing and fulfilling the God given destiny He has for us? Is it pride that we know better than God and can make the choices by ourselves to live a good life so that we may feel approved and look good to others?

Not all of the believers will stand in front of others visible to their physical eyes in the church to serve like pastors, teachers etc. because He has given all of us unique gifts that build up the Body of Christ with different roles and responsibilities. (Ref 1 Corinthians 12:4-31) And what we should remember is that the Lord places greater importance on things unseen than those that are seen. (Ref 2 Corinthians 4:18) It is not the physical appearance that sustains life but the inner organs that are unseen such as heart etc. that do.

Today, let us focus on fulfilling the God given destiny with an attitude of humility that the Lord knows better than us about the best life we can live out. He is our Creator Who knows better about us than ourselves. (Ref John 10:10) At first, we may not like how the Lord is calling us to live out but soon will experience an abundance of supernatural joy and peace when we step out in faith trusting Him. (Ref Matthew 14:29)

May the Lord continue to richly bless you!
