This morning's verses talk about sins that were committed unintentionally. In other words, the Lord is concerned about our motives. He judges the intentions of the heart. (Ref Hebrews 4:12)

What is our motive for what we call "His Kingdom" works? Is our motive to impress anyone as we do His work? Are we under pressure to perform to meet other's expectations? The Lord is teaching us to work out our own salvation which starts from within. (Ref Philippians 2:12) Most importantly, we are to serve God rather than man. (Ref Acts 5:28-29) When our focus on Christ for guidance, the reward we receive is peace from Him. (Ref Matthew 11:28-30, Isaiah 26:3)

Today, let us seek His guidance and corrections in terms of the intentions of the heart. It is the way to rest and peace.

May the Lord continue to richly bless you!
