His Word for Today: Book of Deuteronomy 14:22-27
This morning's verses talk about our heart for the Lord. Where is our heart? He is commanding the Israelis to tithe but is directing them to use the tithe for the feast. He is not interested in receiving our wealth but our hearts. It is not so much what we do but our hearts, our motives that matter. (Ref Hebrews 4:12) Today, let us assess where our heart is. Our hearts can be found in what we treasure. (Ref Matthew 6:21) May the Lord continue to richly bless you!
