His Word for Today

This morning’s verse talks about warning against greed. Are we satisfied with what the Lord has entrusted us with? We may be comparing ourselves with what others are doing or where they are at in their life stages, thinking that they are far ahead of us, and wishing we had what they have. Or we may be frustrated with where we are at right now, trying to move on with life in our own strength, only to crash and burn. But if we choose to be content with where the Lord is leading

This morning's verses talk about the Lord's guidance being specific. We can seek His guidance to be specific. Although He has given us freewill, do we have peace about our choices? (Ref Colossians 3:15) Today, let us thank God that He sent His only Son to be our Savior (Ref John 3:16) so that we can make choices according to the peace He gives us.
