His Word for Today: Book of Deuteronomy 27:17

This morning’s verse talks about warning against greed.

Are we satisfied with what the Lord has entrusted us with? We may be comparing ourselves with what others are doing or where they are at in their life stages, thinking that they are far ahead of us, and wishing we had what they have. Or we may be frustrated with where we are at right now, trying to move on with life in our own strength, only to crash and burn. But if we choose to be content with where the Lord is leading us today and stay within the boundaries He has for us, we can experience joy and peace. (See 1 Timothy 6:6)

Today, let us focus on living the life He has for us. We can experience the fruit of the Spirit of peace because we are aligned with His will. (See Galatians 5:22-23) What is He dealing with us today to be prepared for the next season?
