This morning’s verses speak of the believer’s everlasting home.

Which should we prioritize, what is eternal or temporal? We may not receive and experience all of God’s promises during our times on this earth (See  Hebrews 11:13), but we will certainly do so at an eternal level because He is an eternal being.

Because our eternal home is with the Lord, we have brought nothing into this world and will bring nothing out of this world. (See 1 Timothy 6:7) It is wiser to focus on building wealth in our eternal home than on temporary homes. (See Matthew 6:19-21)

Today, let us continue to choose to focus on what has eternal value. It is the unseen areas that have eternal value. (See 2 Corinthians 4:18) Our faith, hope, and love are three key areas that have eternal significance. (See 1 Corinthians 13:13) How much are we fighting (See 1 Timothy 6:12) to experience victory, to focus on what lies ahead, forgetting what is behind, keeping no record of wrongs, trusting others who may behave like Judas, giving others the right to make a decision that can impact our lives? (See 1 Corinthians 13:5, 7)

May the Lord continue to richly bless you!
