His Word for Today: Book of Isaiah 25:6-12

This morning’s verses talk about pride.

Despite our confidence or pride in our skills, He can still humble and humiliate us. His gifts and talents can place us before those in authority (See Proverbs 22:29), but the most important thing is our humility before the Lord to trust in Him. Who gave us our gifts and talents in the first place? Our Creator. (See Romans 12:6)

Today, let us continue to seek Him first and remember that our talents came from our Creator.
