Today's verse talks about the transition from slavery and

bondage to worldly materials, onto freedom and supply, and finally into victory and abundance. At this stage, Israelis were in the stage of experiencing freedom from slavery in Egypt and supply through manna.

We can see that one of the reasons why they were kept in the wilderness is because of their complaining attitude towards their lack of what they used to have. Are we longing for what we used to have when we were in bondage to a more sinful attitude? We may have had a lot of tangible things but the Lord, through more freedom from sinful attitude which is revealed through our spiritual growth, wants us to go from more freedom and onto new and fresh victories in battles experiencing greater abundance.

God is about to do a new thing in our lives.(Isaiah 43:19) What are the areas we need to grow so that we can move on from the wilderness into the promised land? He is equipping us with new wisdom and level of faith that is required to fight the battles in the next promised land in our journey with Christ.

If we feel that we are lacking focus with constant distractions, constant confessions of single mindedness throughout the day can help us grow in our level of focus. We may not achieve perfection until Christ returns but we can grow to the highest level that we can ever attain. (Ref Philippians 3:13, Luke 10:41-42, Philippians 1:6)

Today, let us continue to seek His guidance and work on our areas of opportunity for growth in our hearts and minds. He wants to take us into a greater level of abundance to experience more of Him.

May the Lord continue to richly bless you!
