Today's verse talks about the Lord hearing our prayers that are in alignment with His will. Moses asked for His forgiveness of the attitude and behaviors of the Israelis, and the Lord forgave them because He is a God Who forgives.

We may have questions about if we have prayed correctly having gone through the motions perfectly. But the Lord sees and judges the intentions, the motives of our hearts. (Ref Hebrews 4:12) Let us ask ourselves, why we are praying about what we are praying.

The Lord will not respond to prayers that are not His will, (Ref 1 John 5:14) which is good because this will keep us out of unnecessary troubles. His plan for us is inherently good. (Ref John 10:10)

When we speak our prayers with our mouths, it is powerful because there is life or death in the words that we speak. (Ref Proverbs 18:21) Let us make sure that what we confess about aligns with His will for us.

Today, let us remember that although our prayers may not be going through the perfect motions, there are areas such as motives, His good plans for us, and our mouths that activate the will of God in our lives.

May the Lord continue to richly bless you!
