His Word for Today: Book of Numbers 14:36-38

Today's verses talk about honoring those who faithfully follow the Lord. Are we instead giving a difficult time to those who are eagerly seeking His will to be fulfilled on this earth?

When we are so self focused demanding our ways rather than others', (Ref 1 Corinthians 13:4-7) we lose spiritual sight of His love that He teaches us in the bible. We need to make sure that His plan for others are fulfilled through our service. The gifts He gave us is to benefit others. In other words, our demand should be placed on others fulfilling their God given destiny, which is our purpose on this earth. We even lighten our load and take the pressure off of ourselves by focusing on others’ success. 

Today, let us continue to focus on serving others. If we are accustomed to serving others, let us think of better ways to serve them so that His plans could be fulfilled. What is He speaking to us today?
