His Word for Today: Book of Numbers 15:11-13

Today's verses talk about our faithfulness to consistently complete repeated tasks. Are we faithful to thoroughly complete them even if they become boring to us? 

The bible teaches us to be faithful with the little and He will give us greater responsibilities that are beyond our imagination. (Ref Luke 19:17) I believe that this is a great promise by the Lord. Some situations demand that we repeat certain tasks day in and day out consistently. Scriptures also teach us that we will reap a harvest of blessings if we don't give up doing what is right. (Ref Galatians 6:9) Over the years, I have learned to enjoy completing daily repeated tasks. I enjoy them because I feel that the Lord is leading me to do them and fulfilling them gives me a great sense of satisfaction. 

Today, let us continue to give our very best even to those tasks that no longer seem to inspire us much. Because when we learn to delight ourselves in the Lord, He will give us the desires of our hearts. (Ref Psalm 37:4)
