His Word for Today: Book of Numbers 15:14-16

Today's verses talk about the oneness of believers. And most importantly, believers' oneness with the Lord. Because of our oneness with the Lord, we are like Jesus even in this world. (Ref 1 John 4:17) What does this mean to us?

We are a spirit being with a soul, clothed in a body. (Ref 1 Thessalonians 5:23) The bible teaches us that we are created in His image, (Ref Genesis 1:27) and God is a Spirit. (Ref John 4:24) And because we are like Christ, our spirit now is perfect. We are a new creation having received Christ into our lives. (Ref 2 Corinthians 5:17) And Christ is the same yesterday,  today and forever, unchanging which means that we can trust the Lord that He would not change, forever faithful. (Ref Hebrews 13:8)

Today, let us reflect on our true being, the spirit. We have the option to believe or not believe through our soul. And let us not be deceived to think that we are a physical body being with only a soul, where the world is deceived to invest their resources entirely on. We have a powerful, almighty Spirit in us that can transform even our bodies through our soul. (Ref Romans 8:9-11)
