This morning's verses talk about humbling ourselves before the Lord. Humbling ourselves means to acknowledge the need for the Savior. What areas in our lives have we chosen to take into our own hands? Striving to do things by our own strength leads to unrest and lack of peace as these are the signs that we will experience. (Ref Isaiah 26:3)
Are there areas in our lives where we have experienced one failure after another unable to experience breakthroughs? It is important that we assess the situation asking the Holy Spirit to guide us through in this area. Jesus teaches us that we can do nothing without Him but if we stay connected, we will bear much fruit. (Ref John 15:5) Having a conversation with Him throughout the day is important for our success for His glory. We don't necessarily need to open up our bibles, put our hands together to have a conversation with Him. We can simply acknowledge His presence and speak with Him seeking His guidance in any area. There may be an email that we feel the Holy Spirit is prompting us to send to those above us in the organization but we may not be sure what content to include and how to communicate the content. He will guide you what and how, teaching us all things. (Ref John 10:27, John 14:26)
Today, let us humble ourselves before the Lord, admitting that we need Him to bear much fruit. He will guide us in all areas of our lives to bear much fruit.
May the Lord continue to richly bless you!
