His Word for Today: Book of Numbers 30:6-16

This morning's verses continue to talk about vows. Why do we have to impress others? There may be multiple underlying reasons and motives that drive this behavior. 

One of the solutions to this issue is to simply learn to hear His voice and act accordingly. (Ref John 10:27, James 2:17) The Scriptures teach us that we have the mind of Christ (Ref 1 Corinthians 2:16) and know all things. (Ref 1 John 2:20) It is important to have faith in His promise that we hear His voice and know all things. We can then expect Him to speak to us in various ways which includes peace in our hearts. (Ref Colossians 3:15) 

Today, let us believe in His promises about knowing His will for our lives. We may have already experienced hearing His voice but we can choose to grow in this area of hearing His voice beyond what we have experienced so far.
