What does the number 12 signify in the bible, which is repeatedly used in today’s section? It includes order, completeness etc.. When I notice that the year ends completely in 12 months broken out by seasons that repeat, I notice that God is in control of nature with order and completeness. Praise the Almighty God Who created the heavens and the earth. (Ref Genesis 1:1)
What is even more amazing is that the Almighty God now resides in us believers. (Ref 1 John 4:4) We can rest knowing that the Almighty God is always with us through every season of sowing and reaping. (Ref Genesis 8:22) Therefore, it is very important for us to continue to sow for future harvest. This means that where we are today represents what we sowed in the past seasons. What are we doing today for our future?
Today, let us focus on sowing for our future. We may be in the harvest season to reap in some areas, but we can always sow for our future in other areas. A farmer who felt like not sowing and chose not to sow in season will not see the harvest in due season. Therefore, it is not about emotions but about the choices we make out of our faith in Christ. (Ref James 2:17) We hear His voice. (Ref John 10:27)
May the Lord continue to richly bless you today!
