This morning's verse talks about our lack of knowledge regarding God's Word. What do we do when we do not understand His promises in the scriptures? The bible teaches us to trust in the Lord with all our heart and lean not on our own understanding. (Ref Proverbs 3:5) And if we proceed without knowledge, we will be headed into failure. (Ref Proverbs 21:5, Proverbs 19:2)

What is He speaking to us today that we may have trouble understanding but we know it is the truth that we need that sets us free? There are times when we need to simply accept and receive the truth without being fully convinced in our minds but know that it is the truth to be accepted in our hearts. We may think that there are all kinds of factors affecting our mind,  will and emotions, but it may simply be our lack of focus that restores our peace of mind. (Ref Luke 10:41-42)

The Bible is against taking shortcuts not following the Lord. When we look at our hearts, do we feel like we are in a rush under pressure? It takes time to build on our knowledge of the Word, which means that it takes time for us to grow. Even on day to day tasks, if we are under pressure to complete certain tasks that force us to rush, we are headed into all kinds of mistakes, errors etc.. What is our motive to rush? It may be our fear towards failure. Let us take time starting with completing everyday tasks successfully. (Ref Hebrews 4:12)

Today, let us choose to walk like Christ created in the image of God. (Ref 1 John 4:17) We are like the Word of God (Ref John 1:1) that focuses and takes steps not in a rush.

May the Lord continue to richly bless you!
