His Word for Today: Book of Deuteronomy 1:9-15

This morning's verses talk about delegation. Are there any areas in our lives that we have chosen not to delegate?

Christ delegated His works onto us to preach the Gospel although He could have done it by Himself because He is almighty. (Ref Matthew 19:26, Mark 16:15) He Who was perfect, delegated to those who were not. (Ref Romans 3:23) Is the reason why we have not delegated is because we are afraid that they would not do as well as we do? As Christ promised that we would do greater works than Him, we can trust those to whom we delegate our works that they would do greater works than us. It is indeed our responsibility that they surpass us. (Ref John 14:12)

Today, let us seek His guidance concerning areas that we can delegate to others so that they can go farther than we were able to go in our lifetime.
