His Word for Today: Book of Deuteronomy 12:20-27

This morning's verses talk about the desires and wills of our hearts.

He works in us to will and to do for His pleasure. (Ref Philippians 2:13) We may have lots of conflicting emotions, thoughts, wants that are going on in our hearts that may be fighting against the desires He placed in us but we have the mind of Christ. (Ref 1 Corinthians 2:16) What desires has he placed in our hearts? Because we have the mind of Christ, we should know them. 

Today, let us trust the Lord that He would take care of the conflicting thoughts, emotions, and focus on what He wants us to do.
