His Word for Today: Book of Deuteronomy 13:6-11

This morning's verses talk about idols in our lives. 

Have we let anything take the place of the Lord? Finances, people’s expectations, approval from others, criticism from others etc.? It is the truth that sets us free. (Ref John 8:32) It is Christ that sets us free. He is the way, the Truth and the life. (Ref John 14:6) The Truth 

used in these two verses in Greek is alētheia. Christ is the Word (Ref John 1:1) Who became flesh (Ref John 1:14). What Word of God has He spoken to our hearts? 

Today, let us continue to meditate on the Word He has given to us. If He has spoken to us to focus on taking action (Ref Matthew 7:21) and entrust Him with our souls because we have the mind of Christ, (Ref 1 Corinthians 2:16) that is what we should continue to focus on.
