His Word for Today: Book of Deuteronomy 15:18

This morning's verses talk about giving without expecting anything in return.

We may be tested to be generous to those who may not have anything to thank us back in return. (Ref Matthew 25:35-40, Luke 6:35) But this is God's teaching which means that this is for our good. We need to remind ourselves that the more we have, the more responsibility we will have. His will is for us to have light burdens. (Ref Matthew 11:28-30) We can not only unload the responsibilities of managing financial resources but also receive abundantly back in return through our generosity. (Ref Luke 6:38) Give and receive more, give more and receive much more is His cycle of abundance. 

Today, let us seek His guidance in terms of what we may be withholding. We can expect to experience a breakthrough of financial abundance flowing into our lives.
