His Word for Today: Book of Deuteronomy 16:21-22

This morning's verses talk about pleasing God.

Is our heart pleasing to the Lord? Or are we trying to please men? Sometimes we may feel lonely because of the absence of acceptance and approval we desire from others. However, the Lord never forsake us. (Ref Hebrew 13:5) He is in us. (Ref Galatians 2:20) We can choose to stay focused on pleasing the Lord rather than men. And the truth sets us free. (Ref John 8:32) What can be better than staying focused on the Lord?

Today, more than anything else, let us stay focused on pleasing the Lord. What does He want us to do today?
