His Word for Today: Book of Deuteronomy 17:1

This morning's verses continue to talk about pleasing God.

What is He speaking to us to do today? There are a lot of noises in this world but we hear His voice and follow Him. (Ref John 10:27) We can trust in this promise that we hear Him. The Scriptures also teach us that we have the mind of Christ, (Ref 1 Corinthians 2:16) and know all things. (Ref 1 John 2:20) We may not feel comfortable about what He is speaking to us to do but the Spirit of Jesus who went through uncomfortable situations is in us. (Ref Hebrews 12:2, Colossians 1:27) Because we hear Him, we distinguish comfort from peace. 

Today, let us step into a deeper relationship with the Lord. We hear Him, follow Him, and please Him.
