His Word for Today: Book of Deuteronomy 17:18-20

This morning's verses talk about staying in leadership. 

How do we stay in leadership for a long time? By following the Word of the Lord. We may have been removed from the position of leadership for various reasons but it is important to ask ourselves if we have been making the choices intentionally to follow the Lord. If we have, we can thank the Lord that He closed the door to open a new door of opportunity. 

Today, whether we are in a position of leadership at home, school, work, church etc., let us continue to make the choice to follow the Lord. Even if we are not in a position of leadership, we can choose to influence, impact others positively, pointing others to Godly directions. (Ref Proverbs 27:17)
