His Word for Today: Book of Deuteronomy 18:1-2

This morning's devotional talks about God's inheritance. 

The Scripture teaches that all He has is ours. (Ref  Luke 15:31) What an amazing promise. Even if we have lost everything, we still have the Lord Who provides everything we need to live a Godly life. (Ref 2 Peter 1:3) One of the great benefits to this promise is that we are able to take risks emotionally moving forward, afraid in faith. Is there anything that has kept us from moving forward because of fear? He has already given us the abundant life (Ref John 10:10) - it is up to us to fulfill. (Ref James 2:26)

Today, let us focus on following Him who may test us to cross over into the promised land. We may be tested to even risk our lives but we have God. What more do we need?
