His Word for Today: Book of Deuteronomy 19:4-7

This morning's verses talk about our motives.

The Bible teaches that if we hate our neighbor, we have committed murder. (Ref 1 John 3:15) The Lord is interested more in our heart’s motives than the behaviours. (Ref Hebrews 4:12) It is important to ask ourselves the question of why we do certain things. Is it to honor the Lord Who lives in us? (Ref Galatians 2:20)

Today, let us ask ourselves the question of why. Why do we work so hard? Is it because of fear of what if or of the sincere desire to honor Him?
