His Word for Today: Book of Deuteronomy 21:22-23

This morning’s verses talk about Christ having become a curse for us so that we can become His righteousness. (Ref Galatians 3:13)

This means that the Old Testament Law that leads to curse was removed completely through Christ. We no longer need to work to earn His righteousness but receive His righteousness by faith. (Ref Ephesians 2:8)

In other words, the Old Testament Law that is taught in the Scriptures need to be read accordingly. They are no longer what leads to curse but to consequences of ungodly choices we make. 

Today, let us release His righteousness we receive by faith to honor the Lord. Because we have been made right by faith, it is now our turn to act boldly in faith to live right.
