His Word for Today: Book of Deuteronomy 22:10

This morning’s verse continues to talk about holiness.

Where is our focus? Is our focus to not sin or do what is right? The Scripture teaches to focus on walking in His Spirit and we will not sin. (Ref Galatians 5:16) In other words, this is one of the ways that the Lord deals with our addictions, negative, ungodly habits. We simply choose what the Lord wants us to do and let the Lord deal with the rest according to the Scriptures. He desires that we choose single mindedness focusing on one thing at a time. (Ref Philippians 3:13)

Today, in order to live holy, let us simply choose to focus on what He is leading us to do - the one thing. He will deal with the rest.
