This morning’s verses talk about false accusations.

What does the Bible say about correctly accusing? They need to be established by the witnesses of two or three. (Ref 1 Timothy 5:19-20, Deuteronomy 19:15, Matthew 18:16, 2 Corinthians 13:1) This way, chances of correctly accusing will increase by bringing in others who may be able to cover what we have overlooked. In other words, when we make important decisions, we need to have Godly counsel. (Ref Proverbs 11:14) This is one of the reasons why the Bible teaches us to be quick to listen. (Ref James 1:19) If we misunderstand that we know it all, we will be humbled and humiliated.

Today, let us reflect on whom we have accused both externally and internally. Have we listened to what others have to say about the event?

May the Lord continue to richly bless you!
