His Word for Today: Book of Deuteronomy 22:28-29

This morning’s verses talk about the importance of taking steps using the ungodly instance of having sex before marriage.

Are there any areas in our lives where we have rushed to get things done knowing that it is not the right way to do it? The Lord wants us to take one day at a time, which is the reason why He gives us this day our daily bread for today, not for tomorrow. (Ref Matthew 6:11) We may have something emotionally exciting scheduled for the future, but our focus should remain fulfilling His plan for today. This means that the life of prosperity and abundance (Ref John 10:10) is not for the future some time but for today. 

Today, what is the step we need to take today? Let us focus on fulfilling that living the abundant life Christ died to give us.
