His Word for Today: Book of Deuteronomy 22:8

This morning’s verses talk about careful planning. 

Do we plan ahead so that we can avoid unnecessary consequences? This morning’s Scripture instructs to build a parapet around the flat roof so that it can prevent people from falling from the roof. This seems to be a very foundational, basic instruction but it is in these areas that we often overlook because we think we know better. 

Today, let us assess if we have arrogantly ignored Godly counsel from others around us. (Ref Proverbs 27:17, Proverbs 11:14) What can we learn by being quick to listen? (Ref James 1:19)
