His Word for Today: Book of Deuteronomy 22:9

This morning’s verses talk about holiness. 

Holiness in the Scriptures means setting apart. (Ref Leviticus 20:26, Jeremiah 1:5) Are we set apart from the darkness in this world? Do people recognize that we are different from the ordinary? Do we stand out from the crowd? The key here is not to blend with darkness but to shed our light on darkness impacting lives. (Ref Matthew 5:14-16)

Today, let us choose to be holy. Because we will stand out, we may feel uncomfortable, but we can choose to be holy.
