His Word for Today: Book of Deuteronomy 23:24

This morning’s verses talk about taking advantage of others with goodwill. 

Do we appreciate and give thanks to what we have received from others? Have we overlooked what we have received from others, focusing only on what we have not received? (See 1 Thessalonians 5:18) We can choose to be content with what we have, keeping ourselves from being greedy. (See Hebrews 13:5) This Wisdom deals with angry emotions we may have towards others because of what we are not able to receive from them.

Today, let us reflect on what we have received from others, especially from those we are frustrated with, because this can be the solution to our angry emotions towards them.
