This morning’s verses talk about trials, preparation, and transition.
The offender in today’s Scriptures committed sin, and Jesus became sin on our behalf so that we can be made righteous. Jesus went through trials, preparation, and transition in the desert for 40 days as God and man. What is He teaching us in this season so that we can transition to the new season He has prepared for us, doing a new thing? (See Matthew 4:1-11)
Are we ready to take on the hardship in the next season? Scriptures teach us to let endurance have its perfect result and do a thorough work in us believers. If we want a perfect, flawless state of our soul, mind, will, and emotions, this is not realistic. We need to instead embrace this truth, choosing to stay focused on Christ even in hardships with endurance. We also need to accept the truth that this endurance will be required until we see Christ face to face. (See James 1:2-4)
Today, what is He dealing with in our spiritual growth? It may not be comfortable, but we will experience such peace in our heart that we know that it is Him working through us to prepare in this season of transition.
May the Lord continue to richly bless you!
