His Word for Today: Book of Deuteronomy 25:11-12

This morning’s verses talk about legacy.

The Lord is concerned when our legacy of faith is not passed on to the next generation. What are we doing to keep the flow of legacy from being passed down to the next generation? Or what are we doing to leave the legacy of faith to the next generation? The Lord promises that when the Gospel is preached to all nations on the earth, the end will come. In other words, we must fight to see the Gospel preached to the generations to come. (See Matthew 24:14, 1 Timothy 6:12)

Today, what distractions are we letting get in the way of preaching the Gospel, sowing the seed into the heart of people to see the Gospel preached and passed down to the next generation? Let us continue to endure the hardships to see the Kingdom of God advance. (See James 1:2-4)
