His Word for Today: Book of Deuteronomy 25:5-10

This morning’s bible verses talk about mercy towards the vulnerable in society.

Are we busy with what we consider to be the God-given assignment? What happens when our quiet time with the Lord is interrupted, and we are led to serve the needs of those who interrupted us? Jesus chose to serve those who interrupted them. 

Our daily plans in life may not go the way we would like them to, but it is in these moments of interruptions that we can experience His miracles. (See Matthew 14:13-14)

Today, let us look around and see who the Lord has sent to us to reveal His mercy and compassion. We will be tested to see what our motives are to live out our lives on this earth with endurance. (See James 1:2-4)
