His Word for Today: Book of Deuteronomy 27:22

This morning’s verse continues to talk about the curse.

What is getting in the way between the Lord and us to experience the abundant life Christ died to give us? (See John 10:10) The Bible teaches us to lay aside every weight and sin that distracts us from running the race He has for each one of us. Sometimes, the way to deal with sins is simply to lay them aside.

Today, let us clear up our minds, will, and emotions through focus, laying aside distractions. Our lives on this earth are short. We must continue to move forward to run and finish the race.  (See Hebrews 12:1-2)
