This morning’s verse continues to talk about the curse.
What is the sin in our lives that keeps us from living the abundant life that Christ died to give us? It may not be a sexual sin, but what are the areas He is interested in seeing us work on?
Is it fear of being isolated, alone, or criticized? Christ is with us, so we will never be alone. (See Colossians 1:27) What is at the root of mercy (See Luke 6:36) and endurance (See James 1:2-4)? This needs to be balanced with correction (See Hebrews 12:11), and we will know when to apply them from the spirit. (See 1 John 2:20) Christ died on the cross to correct the spiritual death of mankind. Correction is not always a message towards others, but our responsibility to act to correct the situation.
Today, let us focus on our spiritual growth.
May the Lord continue to richly bless you!
