This morning’s verse talks about hidden sins.
How terrible it is when we pretend that we are righteous when we are unrighteous in the background? In the Scriptures, this attitude is called hypocrisy.
Therefore, it is wiser to admit that we have our weaknesses than to hide those weaknesses, pretending that we have no weaknesses. If we accept the need for the Saviour openly, there is no way that the sin of hypocrisy can come into our lives. We can experience greater freedom. (See John 8:32)
Today, let us openly accept our need for the Saviour. Even Jesus, the Son of God, accepted His need for the Father and is noted in the Scriptures Which are read publicly from generation to generation. (See Matthew 26:39)
May the Lord continue to richly bless you!
