His Word for Today: Book of Deuteronomy 27:9-10

This morning’s verses talk about our identity as His people. 

Because we are God’s people, we obey His Word. What have we chosen not to obey to go against the ungodly habits? God is interested in seeing us grow and prosper. (See Psalm 35:27) It is important that we go against the current to get to the next level. There must be discomfort when we make this choice. (See James 1:2-4)

Today, let us choose to go against the ungodly habits to be prepared for the next season in life because He will not tempt us beyond what we are able to handle. (See 1 Corinthians 10:13) Our lives on this earth are an experience of a series of trials.
