This morning’s verses speak of Christ, the Firstborn. (See Colossians 1:15)
Christ, with His Gospel, will be taken to the ends of the earth. Believers are ambassadors of Christ from heaven sent to take the Gospel of Jesus to all nations. (See 2 Corinthians 5:20)
One of the ways to take the Gospel is for us to become the living manifestations of Christ through example. (See 1 Timothy 4:12) God’s love is what the world needs in this world that is chaotic. Are we holding onto others’ wrongdoings towards us and ourselves to others? Do we choose to trust others, believing in their good motives? Are we fighting to get what we want rather than giving others the right to get what they want, trusting the Lord that all things work together for good? We may feel like we want to get out of the situation we are in right now, but His grace is sufficient, giving us His power to work in our weaknesses, enabling us to stand. (See 1 Corinthians 13:5, 1 Corinthians 13:7, Romans 8:28, 2 Corinthians 12:7-9)
Today, let us take the Gospel to the ends of the earth together as believers of Christ. We may not have the opportunity to speak with our mouths, but our actions can speak for Him.
May the Lord continue to richly bless you!
